Update after close on 2nd March

Our stop at 36.82 took us out of this trade, saving us from a further $1.12 loss… how important is stops??? exited with 1% profit before charges.

Update after close on 1st March

QCOM had further weakness today, with increasing volume and a MA crossover 50/100 there will probably be further weakness tomorrow.  A a precaution I will place a stop loss @ 36.82 hope it will not be triggered as there is nothing in the chart indicating strength but better safe than sorry. QCOM has appeared in our scan again today as a sell candidate which is nice confirmation.

Update after close on 26th Feb

QCOM has moved down 1.3%, indicators would hint at further lows to come.

QCOM looks interesting for a short (put), technically it has no support level from the past 12 months at the current levels, a failed recovery from 2 weeks ago make it a possible short candidate.  But the gap from 4 weeks ago will be filled at some point.
